Windsor was formed in 2018 and has offices located in Duluth and Minneapolis, Minnesota and Vancouver, Washington.  Windsor has 46 employees and is very different than any other engineering firm. 


Windsor is seeking like-minded individuals who have a strong desire to help build an amazing team.  The Senior Mechanical Engineering position in either one of the Minnesota offices or Washington office will be a foundational position in the Mechanical Group that will help Windsor achieve our vision.  We are especially looking for energetic, positive team members who take ownership for their work, exhibit the right attitude, and have a desire for constant improvement.

A description of the position and its requirements are shown below.


  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure  

  • Bachelor of Science – Mechanical Engineering Degree

  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in the MEP design industry

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills

  • Able to adopt and exhibit Windsor Core Values

  • Able to work full-time

  • Knowledge and proficiency with Revit and Bluebeam

  • Trade experience is preferred

  • Manage projects (As “Lead” and/or “PM” when assigned)

  • Responsible for project delivery (scope, schedule, and budget)

  • Act as Engineer of Record

  • Work closely with clients and other stakeholders to represent Windsor positively and grow strong long -term relationships

  • Develop and maintain relationships with team members and those we collaborate with outside of the company (including clients)

  • Able to effectively communicate design options to a diverse stakeholder group

  • Assist with estimating and proposal efforts for new project opportunities

  • Able to effectively plan for and manage multiple projects and deadlines and complete deliverables on time and on budget

  • Mentoring/training of junior team members

  • Responsible for quality and following Windsor’s Quality Management Plan (QMP)

  • Knowledge of engineering systems, codes, and other disciplines

  • Coordinate with other disciplines

  • Complete site visits
