Kalama Stoneterra Retaining Wall
[Kalama, WA] Windsor Engineers - in partnership with subconsultant Pali Consulting - designed a large 325 feet long and up to 28 feet high retaining wall alongside Interstate 5 as part of the The Lofts at Kalama multifamily housing project. The wall design included a geogrid tieback system and was coordinated with the nearby new sewer collection system and newly proposed circulation streets.
Battle Ground Wastewater Flow Equalization
[Battle Ground, WA] Windsor Engineers evaluated wastewater flow equalization needs for the City of Battle Ground. The evaluation included an assessment of total storage needs, methods for expanding flow equalization most cost effectively, and also regional conveyance alternatives for pumping long-term wastewater flows to the regional Salmon Creek Treatment Plant. Kennedy Jenks provided hydraulic modeling and structural assessment subconsultant services.
Hood River Biosolids Storage
[Hood River, WA] Windsor Engineers prepared a biosolids storage study for the City of Hood River. The study evaluated the quantity of biosolids storage needs, assessed the expansion alternatives, and recommended architectural, structural, mechanical, civil, and process improvements to double the wastewater treatment plant biosolids storage capacity.
Oswald West Short Sands Beach Water System
[Arch Cape, OR] Windsor Engineers designed a new water distribution system to replace aging water lines. The project served several locations in Oswald West State Park including the Short Sands Beach restrooms. The project was designed by Windsor following a challenging field assignment to develop as-builts of the current system.
Hood River Wastewater Administration Services
[Hood River, WA] Windsor Engineers was contracted by the City of Hood River to provide comprehensive wastewater treatment plant administrative services. The work began December 2020 and is current scheduled to continue into mid-2022. Services including assessments, consultant oversight, RFP development, bid package development, industrial pretreatment oversight, and contract operations oversight.
Hood River Industrial Pretreatment Program Development
[Hood River, WA] Windsor Engineers led the development of a new Industrial Pretreatment Program for the City of Hood River. The project included Jacobs as a subconsultant. The City has four Significant Industrial Users. Work was completed in 2021-2022 and included a Sewer Use Ordinance, Fats Oils & Grease Program, Surcharge Study, Local Limits Study, and Implementation Plan.
Vail Two Apartments
[Shoreline, WA] Vail Two is a 7-story, 215-unit apartment building in Shoreline, WA with 2 levels of underground parking. The building includes multiple amenities including fitness and rooftop lounge. The project achieved Built Green four-star sustainability certification (similar to LEED Silver). Windsor provided Design-Assist engineering services for the project in preparation for the design-build contractors.
Luong's Landscaping - Industrial Park Civil Design
[Brush Prairie, WA] Windsor Engineers provided site civil engineering services at the Glenwood Industrial Park development in Brush Prairie, Washington. Luong's Landscaping plans to build its headquarters in the new industrial park. Windsor provided support during the pre-application and land use phases and was the civil engineer for the design phase. The project includes parking, site access, water, sewer, stormwater, grading, and paving. Windsor teamed up with Ed Greer and Wyndham Enterprises for this project.
Brush Prairie Site Development
[Brush Prairie, WA] Windsor assisted the client in the development of a commercial site to include two new 5,000 SF buildings, each designed to host two business owner tenants for their construction business offices and shop space. The Windsor scope is comprehensive including pre-application services, civil design, landscape design, mechanical/plumbing design, electrical design, permitting, oversight of architectural, structural, archaeological, septic, and traffic subconsultants.
Edith Green Wendell Wyatt Building
[Portland, OR] Windsor provided design services for a design/build client on multiple tenant improvements in this 18-story high-rise in downtown Portland. The building is home to more than 16 federal agencies and 1,200 federal employees. Certified LEED Platinum, the building has many advanced sustainability features including solar thermal panels that provide for 30% of the building’s domestic hot water, shading devices on the facade, energy efficient lighting systems with advanced control, and a solar roof that produces 3% of the building’s electrical energy requirements annually . In addition, the facility is designed to meet the Federal Guiding Principles for High Performing Green Buildings which required Windsor to partake in several government reviews. Windsor’s scope included TI spaces ranging in size from 1,000 to 4,000 SF in size.

[Lacey, WA] The project, located in Lacey, WA, consisted of a four-story wood-framed market rate apartment building. The project included a large outdoor courtyard space with an outdoor BBQ and an adjacent taproom with outdoor patio. In addition, the building included multiple amenity areas for tenant use. Windsor provided Design-Assist engineering services for the project in preparation for the design-build contractors.
[Vancouver, WA] Windsor provided full MEP design and construction administration services for this 20,500 sf industrial/retail building in Vancouver, WA. The project included warehouse, fabrication, and office space along with two industrial tenant spaces.
